David is a litigation partner specialising in property damage claims. He is qualified as a Solicitor Advocate.
He is currently acting for a number of insurers in respect of the wide scale flooding in Edinburgh in April 2000. He has also been instructed in connection with flooding in Elgin/Moray and flooding in Hawick.
David’s writings on the subject have been published in Greens Reparation Bulletin and he has given a number of talks to insurers and adjusters on flooding, including a Master Class to the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters. David has also spoken in conjunction with the eminent Hydrologist Dr John Riddell during our seminar programme for the insurance industry.
David served as a member of the Medical Ethics Committee of the Southern General Hospital, Glasgow between 1991 and 1997. He is also a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers.
