Will Preparation Form

It is necessary for the testator to appoint executors whose job it is to ensure that the necessary funeral arrangements are made and that the estate is ingathered and distributed in accordance with the terms of the testator’s Will. It is customary to appoint at least one executor with alternatives in the event of death of an executor.

Normally a spouse or brothers or sisters are most appropriate appointments. Many parties like to appoint an independent executor along with them such as a solicitor, accountant, bank manager, etc. It is prudent to appoint executors of the same or a younger generation rather than an older generation.

Note that items marked with an * are mandatory to submission of the form.
